Auditions
The Oregon Children's Choir holds open auditions for its seven
different choirs (2nd grade through high school students). Auditions are
fun and supportive and may include pitch matching, rhythmic exercises
and singing a familiar song. Vocal range will be assessed as well as
voice timbre.
Older, more experienced singers (Young Men's Ensemble and Young Women's
Choir auditioners) may also have their sight reading ability checked and
will be asked to demonstrate the ability to identify the letter name of
all the notes in the treble clef.
Singers interested in auditioning are asked to bring a completed
Student Audition
